Meet Driven By Us X Females in Motorsport International Women In Engineering Day panelist #INWED24 Stephanie Alexander!
An experienced automotive engineer, a volunteer race marshal and a passionate STEM Ambassador, believing that anyone can (and should) have the opportunity to have a career in STEM.
Stephanie received her BSc in Motorsport Technology from University of Hertfordshire, before going on to join Bosch UK as a Graduate Engineer. Now, a decade later, she is a Senior Safety Calibration Engineer at Bosch UK & Ireland, the spokesperson for women at Bosch UK, an active member of the Bosch UK DEI strategy group and was an Autocar Great Women: Rising Stars finalist in Vehicle Development in 2023.
In 2022, she became a volunteer race marshal in her spare time, supporting grassroots racing across the UK. This led her to become Driven By Us’ Club Chief Marshal in 2023, supporting their future motorsport plans and educating others on the importance of officials and marshals in motorsport. She was a guest speaker at Autosport International 2024 and loves engaging with the wider community about all roles within the sector!
Stephanie uses her experiences in both industry and motorsport to inspire and encourage others to achieve their own dreams, their way. Making the sport more inclusive and representative of society is one of her goals and is looking forward to talking with both the current and next generation of motorsport enthusiasts!
